User Agreement

Global Longevity Association, Inc.October, 2026

This User Agreement (the "Agreement") is a binding contract between you and Global Longevity Association, Inc. ("GLA," "we," "us"). It governs your use of globallongevityassociation.org and, if you apply or are accepted, your GLA membership. By using the website, submitting an application, or paying any fee to GLA, you accept this Agreement, our Privacy Policy and our Refund and Fulfillment Policy. If you do not accept them, do not use the website or apply.

Section 16 requires disputes to be resolved by individual binding arbitration and includes waivers of jury trials and class actions. Please read it carefully.

1.Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a binding contract. Membership is open to professionals and organizations working in health, science, policy, investment or innovation. If you apply on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to bind it, and "you" includes that organization.

2.Membership tiers

GLA offers three membership tiers, as described on our Join page: Practitioner, Business and GLA Advisory. Fees, seat limits and benefits are those shown on the Join page at the time you are accepted. GLA Advisory membership also requires a separate written Advisory Agreement. If the Advisory Agreement conflicts with this Agreement, the Advisory Agreement controls on that point.

3.Application and review

  1. You apply through the application form on our website. No payment is due when you apply.
  2. The GLA Advisory Board reviews each application against GLA's professional and evidence standards. We aim to reach a decision within 14 business days.
  3. Acceptance is at GLA's sole discretion. GLA is not required to give reasons for any decision.
  4. If you are accepted, we email you a payment link. Your membership begins when GLA receives your payment.

You represent that all information in your application is true, complete and current, including your credentials, licensure, affiliations and any professional disciplinary history. You agree to notify GLA within 30 days of any change to that information.

4.Fees, billing and automatic renewal

  • Fees are charged in U.S. dollars through Stripe at the start of each membership year. You are responsible for all taxes and for bank and currency conversion fees.
  • Your membership renews automatically each year. On each renewal date, Stripe charges your payment method on file the then-current fee for your tier, unless you have stopped renewal.
  • GLA emails a renewal reminder at least 30 days before each renewal date.
  • GLA may change membership fees. A new fee applies from your next renewal, and we will notify you at least 30 days before that renewal.
  • To stop renewal, email member@globallongevityassociation.org before your renewal date. Your membership remains active until the end of the year you have paid for.
  • If a payment fails or is reversed, GLA may suspend your membership and benefits until the amount is paid in full.

5.Refunds

Membership fees are non-refundable once you have been accepted and your payment has been processed, including for partial years and renewals. Full terms are in our Refund and Fulfillment Policy.

6.Member benefits

Benefits are those listed for your tier on the Join page when you are accepted. GLA may update, replace or reschedule benefits during your membership year at its discretion. In addition:

  • Priority event access depends on availability and venue requirements. Member discounts apply only to GLA-organized events.
  • Speaking slots, stage consideration, newsletter features, spotlights and co-branded content are offered at GLA's editorial discretion.
  • Introductions to members, partners, investors, institutions or policymakers are offered in good faith. GLA does not guarantee any meeting, partnership, funding, investment, revenue or other outcome.

7.Member standards

As a member, you agree to uphold the GLA charter. You will:

  • Hold and maintain all licenses and credentials your work requires, and represent them accurately.
  • Base health claims about your products, services and protocols on credible scientific evidence, and comply with all advertising and consumer protection laws.
  • Disclose relevant financial interests when you speak, teach or publish through GLA.
  • Conduct yourself professionally and respectfully toward members, speakers, staff and guests, at events and online.
  • Use member directory information and the member network only for genuine professional purposes. Bulk unsolicited messaging, scraping and resale of member information are prohibited.
  • Keep confidential any non-public information GLA designates as confidential, including member-only materials.
  • Comply with all laws that apply to your work.

8.The GLA Verified Member Badge and certification marks

The GLA name, logos, the GLA Verified Member Badge, the GLA Verified Certification mark and the Board-Endorsed Brand designation (together, the "GLA Marks") are the exclusive property of GLA.

License. While your membership is active and in good standing, GLA grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable license to display the GLA Marks that apply to your tier, in accordance with GLA's brand guidelines. All goodwill from your use of the GLA Marks belongs to GLA.

What the marks mean. The GLA Verified Member Badge shows that GLA's Advisory Board reviewed your professional credentials and accepted you as a member. For Business members, the GLA Verified Certification mark and Board-Endorsed Brand status apply only to the specific products, services and claims GLA reviewed, as they existed on the date of review. You agree that:

  • You will use a GLA Mark only in connection with the products, services and claims GLA reviewed, and you will not extend it to new or changed products or claims without GLA's written approval.
  • You will notify GLA within 30 days of any material change to a certified product, its formulation or its claims.
  • You will not state or imply that GLA guarantees the safety, efficacy or results of any product, service or protocol, or that GLA provides medical advice to your customers or patients.
  • You are solely responsible for your products, services, claims and regulatory compliance.

Removal. Your license ends automatically when your membership ends or is suspended, or when GLA withdraws a certification. You must remove the GLA Marks from your website, profiles and materials within 14 days. GLA may also seek removal through any legal means.

9.Directory listing, content and recordings

You grant GLA a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use your name, photo or logo, professional bio and approved profile details in the member directory and in GLA communications and promotional materials during your membership. You confirm that you have the right to grant this license. You keep ownership of your content.

GLA events may be photographed, filmed and recorded. By attending or presenting at a GLA event, you consent to GLA using your name, image, voice and likeness, and recordings of any session you present, in GLA's educational and promotional materials in any media, without compensation, unless GLA agrees otherwise in writing before the event.

10.Suspension, removal and termination

GLA may, at its discretion, suspend or terminate a membership, remove a directory listing, or withdraw a badge or certification if a member:

  • provides false or misleading information, or loses a required license or credential;
  • breaches this Agreement or the GLA charter;
  • makes health claims GLA considers unsupported by evidence;
  • acts in a way GLA considers harmful to its reputation, its members or the safety of others; or
  • fails to pay any amount when due.

GLA will notify the member of its decision. Where GLA considers it appropriate, it may first give the member an opportunity to respond or correct the issue. No fees are refunded when a membership is suspended or terminated under this Section. GLA may review a member's continued eligibility at any time and request updated information.

11.Educational content; no professional advice

Website content, newsletters, reports, events and educational programs are provided for professional and educational purposes only. They are not medical, legal, financial or investment advice, and they do not create a provider-patient or advisory relationship. Members remain solely responsible for their own professional judgment and for the care and services they provide.

12.Events and third-party services

Tickets for GLA events are sold separately and are governed by the terms on each event's page and by our Refund and Fulfillment Policy. Events organized with or by partners are governed by the organizer's terms. Continuing education courses are sold by Longevity Education, a separate company, under its own terms. GLA is not responsible for third-party websites, services, products or events.

13.Website use and intellectual property

All website content, including text, graphics, logos, reports and course materials, is owned by or licensed to GLA and protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. You may view it and share links to it. Any other use, including copying, reproduction or commercial use, requires GLA's prior written permission. You agree not to scrape or harvest website or directory data, interfere with the website's security or operation, upload malicious code, impersonate any person, or use the website for any unlawful purpose.

14.Disclaimers

The website, membership and all GLA services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, GLA disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. GLA's review of any member, product or claim reflects the information available at the time of review. It is not a guarantee of any member's conduct, qualifications or results, or of any product's safety or performance.

15.Limitation of liability and indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GLA and its officers, directors, employees, advisors and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or business opportunities, arising from or related to this Agreement, the website or your membership. GLA's total liability for all claims is limited to the membership fees you paid to GLA in the 12 months before the claim arose.

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless GLA and its officers, directors, employees, advisors and agents from all claims, damages, losses and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your products, services or claims, your use of the GLA Marks, your content, your conduct at GLA events, or your breach of this Agreement.

16.Governing law and dispute resolution

Governing law. This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Informal resolution. Before starting any claim, you agree to send written notice to member@globallongevityassociation.org and to try to resolve the dispute informally for 30 days.

Arbitration. Any dispute arising from or related to this Agreement, the website or your membership that is not resolved informally will be resolved by confidential, binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, before a single arbitrator. The arbitration will take place in Miami-Dade County, Florida. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court with jurisdiction.

Class action and jury trial waiver. You and GLA each agree to bring claims only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective or representative proceeding. You and GLA each waive the right to a jury trial.

Exceptions. Either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court. GLA may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in court to protect its intellectual property, including the GLA Marks, or its confidential information. For those matters, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida.

Time limit. Any claim against GLA must be brought within one year after it arises, or it is permanently barred.

17.Changes to this Agreement

GLA may update this Agreement at any time by posting a new version with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes take effect 30 days after posting, and we will notify members by email. Your continued use of the website or membership after that date means you accept the updated Agreement. If you do not accept it, you may stop your renewal.

18.General terms

This Agreement, the Privacy Policy, the Refund and Fulfillment Policy and any Advisory Agreement form the entire agreement between you and GLA on their subject matter. If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted and the remaining provisions stay in effect. GLA's failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of that right. You may not assign or transfer your membership or this Agreement without GLA's written consent. GLA may assign this Agreement without restriction. GLA is not liable for any delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control. Notices to GLA must be sent to member@globallongevityassociation.org and to 6801 Collins Ave, 4th Floor, Miami Beach, FL 33141.
